Solar Process

01

Decide if solar is a good fit

Going solar has numerous benefits, however there is also a lot to consider when making the decision such as:

  • Homeownership status
  • Age and condition of your roof
  • Roof space
  • Potential shading
  • Energy usage

02

Schedule a no-cost solar assessment

Schedule your free Solar Assessment with one of our Solar Specialists who will:

  • Review your energy bill
  • Answer any questions you have
  • Provide a customized savings report
  • Share the preliminary design of your system
  • Assist you in completing paperwork

03

FINANCING

Going solar has never been easier.  All of our programs require “zero money down”.  Sunnova, our premier financing partner, stands behind the generous warranties and provides several options to choose from which include:

  • A fully assumable lease
  • Cash purchase
  • Financing to own

04

Site Survey

Our Solar Specialists will schedule a site survey, within 1-3 days, during which time the technician will visit your home and:

  • Measure your roof
  • Test your electrical service panel
  • Assess the quality and strength of your roof and attic
  • Note any trees or shading that may affect the system production

05

Custom Design

After submitting the findings from your site survey, the Brilliant engineering team will finalize the design of your system and provide you with a detailed document that includes:

  • Number of panels
  • Layout and design
  • System details with energy production

06

Submit for Permits, schedule Install and subsequent inspections

Once the design is finalized, we submit the paperwork to the local jurisdiction and wait for approval.  Once received, Brilliant Installations will schedule your Solar Panel install typically within 7-10 days:

  • Paperwork and inspections completed and coordinated for you
  • Progress updates provided
  • Post installation inspections scheduled
  • Interconnection with the utility managed for you

07
